Elma joined Aspiriant’s Investment Advisory Group in 2005, and is currently a Manager in Investment Research. She has over 10 years of experience within the financial services industry. At Aspiriant, Elma evaluates investments on behalf of the firm, and participates in the firm’s Investment Committee and Public Equity Committee.
Elma previously worked on Wall Street in both investment banking and capital markets. Prior to Aspiriant, Elma was at Citigroup's Global Corporate and Investment Bank, working in the Global Power Group specializing in debt origination, project finance, and debt restructuring for the electric utilities. Elma’s experience includes the Derivatives Group of CIBC Oppenheimer monitoring the firm's global derivatives business. Elma was also an Analyst in the Fixed Income Division of Goldman Sachs.
Elma is currently a Northern California Chapter Head of 85Broads, a Goldman Sachs alumnae group.
Elma holds an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business, where she received a Director's Fellowship. She graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in Economics.
