Tim Kochis Wins Schwab IMPACT Award

In November, Chuck Schwab, CEO and founder, and Debby McWhinney, President of Schwab Institutional, presented the inaugural Charles R. Schwab award for leadership in the independent advisory profession to Tim Kochis for his more than 33 years of service to the development of the wealth management profession around the world.
Tim was given the opportunity to direct a $25,000 charitable contribution from Schwab. Tim chose Operation Hope which provides financial literacy education to primary and secondary school children, primarily from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
As we celebrate this honor, we sincerely hope that it inspires the entire advisory and wealth management community to seek ways to share financial expertise as perhaps the most effective way for our profession to give back to society as a whole.
